Mission and Core Values
CCIS, a nonprofit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization, was founded in 1967 to promote cooperation among four independent schools of northeastern Ohio in areas in which collaborative efforts might create greater benefits for all. Today CCIS consists of over 10,000 students with 20 unique schools committed to the ideal of an independent education as a valuable and viable choice for learning today.
In reflecting the diversity in our children's learning styles and recognizing the need to offer a range of independent school experiences, we are coed day schools, single sex day schools, Montessori schools, boarding schools, Jewish day schools,
and schools that succeed with children with learning differences.
At CCIS, we invite you to Find the School Where You’ll Find Yourself!
