Cleveland Council on World Affairs: Global Classroom

What is the Global Classroom? Brings alive a country or region of the world to school children throughout Northeast Ohio.
The program offerings are created to serve the goals and objectives of social studies curriculum and directly address standards, indicators and benchmarks. The program is focused primarily on grades 3, 6, and 9, is tailored for each grade level. This program is interdisciplinary and experiential, and involves all students in the class, not just the gifted. Teachers may select any or all of the activities from the listing below. Hale Farm & Village: has a full slate of educational, interpretive and special programming. Regular hours in which Hale is open to the general public run from late May through October. From February through December, Hale is open to educational groups for students Pre-K through high school, to participate in program encompassing history, math, science, social studies and more.
