About CCIS
CCIS, a nonprofit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization, was founded in 1967 to promote cooperation among four independent schools of northeastern Ohio in areas in which
collaborative efforts might create greater benefits for all. Today, CCIS consists of over 4,500 students with 13 unique schools committed to the ideal of an independent
education as a valuable and viable choice for learning today:
In reflecting the diversity in our childrens' learning styles and recognizing the need to offer a range of independent school experiences,
we are coed day schools, an all male day school, all female day schools, Montessori schools, boarding schools and schools that deal with children with learning differences.
Visit our Open House Calendar tab to tour the schools and meet the faculty!
